Here are some simple tips that will make a difference to any relationship

Make time for each other. All friendships need time. Just an hour or two of fun together each week can remind you that you're still friends! If you have kids, get a babysitter in or ask another parent to help. Book it in your diary to show that it's an important date. Leave the TV, computer, telephone alone. Go for a walk, eat out have a bath, watch a movie, have fun. But do it together!

Watch out for your bad habits. Our short videos show you how to spot the STOP signs. Identify your own STOP signs and nip them in the bud. Don't point the finger. Change yourself. Even if you only STOP yourself once, that's one major argument avoided! Little change equals big difference.

Build in some good habits . Ask your spouse or partner what they'd really like you to do for them. What would make them feel loved, appreciated or valued? It might not be what you assume, so check. Tell your loved one what you'd like. We're not mind readers. You may be amazed at the results!
