INSIGHT - for couples starting out
Insight is the ideal course to take if you are engaged, recently married, or just thinking about it. And according to The Times Magazine, ‘Courses like Insight can reduce divorce rates by 80 per cent in the first five years of marriage.’
Run in two parts, you’ll spend a day in the classroom with other couples. Here you'll learn about relationship skills and how to develop good relationship habits. The second part is optional and involves spending a few evenings privately with a mentor couple. You'll go through a questionnaire that you have completed to get you thinking about your relationship. Mentors are ordinary married couples who have survived the ups and downs of married life.
This course is practical, fun and interesting. Most people expect it to be embarrassing and scary. It isn’t. Guaranteed!
INSIGHT runs most months. The skills day is normally held from 10am until 4.30pm in Cotham in central Bristol. Your mentor couple will see you in their own home, usually in the evening. Course costs £60 per couple - free if on benefits.
